1. Who controls your data
The data controller is the individual operating YourMug — see our Impressum for full legal contact details. General contact: support@yourmug.top.
2. What we collect
- What you send us in an order request or email: name, email address, chosen product and options, delivery country, and anything you write in the message field
- Delivery details you give us later: full address and, if you provide one, a phone number
- Payment data: handled entirely by Stripe on Stripe’s own pages. We never see or store your card number
- Basic technical data in standard web-server logs: IP address, browser type, requested page, timestamp
3. Why we use it, and on what legal basis
To answer your enquiry and perform the contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), to comply with tax and accounting obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR), and to keep the website secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest). We only send marketing email if you have explicitly asked for it (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
4. Who we share it with
Only with providers who help us run the business: Stripe (payment processing), our shipping carrier, our email provider, and our hosting provider. We do not sell your data and we do not use advertising networks.
5. Third-party content on this site
Product images and scripts are served from our own server. Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your IP address is transmitted to Google when a page loads. If you would rather avoid this, most browsers allow you to block external font loading.
6. How long we keep it
Order and invoice records are kept for as long as German commercial and tax law requires (generally 6–10 years). Enquiries that don’t lead to an order are deleted once they’re no longer needed. Server logs are rotated automatically after a short period.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or export your data, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to support@yourmug.top. You can also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
8. Cookies
We set no cookies at all. The site stores one item in your browser’s local storage — your light/dark theme preference — which stays on your device and is never sent to us.
Something unclear? Write to support@yourmug.top and a person will answer.
